Being part of a Las Vegas website company since 1996 has allotted me the freedom to be self sufficient and creative. The most important blessing is that I can work from home and be around my kids. I don't need to make a million dollars, I am rich with them, and having both parents home with them shows in their mental health and attitude. They make me proud. I enjoy the creative outlet my work provides, but my kids are what keep me pushing in this business to keep up with it, keep fresh and make Webedelic the best Las Vegas website company I can. Even though I have been at this a long time, the web is constantly changing. There are new technologies and new things to learn and apply to people's websites, again, keeping it new. I have to keep up with the latest technologies or offerings on the web, because people are going to ask. From when blogs became an important part of search engine effectiveness (starting to fade now that everyone has one) to social marketing. All the newest means of promoting and supporting your wesite. The two most important parts of it for me personally are the imagery and the success. Playing with different looks and motion in Flash has never gotten old for me. Seeing a viable website become successful is exciting. When people call to thank me after months that have gone by and to tell me how many compliments they have gotten on their site and how many orders (this obviously varies with what you are selling), it helps me see the value I play in a piece of their business. So, I am grateful to be a part of this Las Vegas website company and I am thankful I get to spend time, working or not, at home around my kids.
