A is for the actions so loving and good.

B is for the baby training on to womanhood.

C is for the Christ-likeness always shown.

D is for the deeds that are not known.

E is for the eyes that shine with love.

F is for the faith she receives from above.

G is for the goodness she bestows.

H is for the happiness that grows.

I is for the ideal she is to me.

J is for the Jesus in her I see.

K is for the kisses overflowing with love.

L is for the love, like that to above.

M is for the meekness her presence sweetly gives.

N is for the noteworthy life she lives.

O is for the overcoming spirit, rarer than gold.

P is for the prayers to God she has told.

Q is for the queenly spirit she shows.

R is for the Risen Savior, the One she truly knows.

S is for the suffering she bears without a word.

T is for the teaching given freely as it's heard.

U is for the understanding I love so well.

V is for the victorious life which is so worthy to tell.

W is for the willingness to supply my needs while in distress.

X is for the extra things I cannot express.

Y is for you, Mother, the one who is so dear.

Z is for Zion where we'll meet without a tear.
